About Atlas Journal
Who writes Atlas Journal, how we test products, how we make money, and how we handle corrections.
What we do
Atlas Journal publishes independent research, comparisons and playbooks for people building and buying software. We focus on the questions that survive a product demo: what a tool costs over three years, how it behaves at scale, and which workflow it actually improves.
How we test
Every review follows a written test plan. We use the same sample data, the same tasks and the same scoring rubric across products, and we disclose when a test is based on a demo rather than a paid account. Scores are relative to the category, not to an abstract ideal.
Editorial standards
- Claims about pricing or performance link to primary sources or dated screenshots.
- Sponsored placements are labelled and never change a score.
- Articles are updated when pricing or major features change, with the update date visible.
- AI tools may assist with outlines and copyediting; testing, judgment and final wording stay human.
Corrections
If something is wrong, email hello@example.com with the URL and the correction. Verified corrections are applied within two business days and noted at the bottom of the article when the change is substantive.
How we make money
The site is funded by display advertising and, where explicitly disclosed, affiliate commissions. Neither influences rankings or scores. We do not sell links, and we do not accept payment for a positive review.
